(Petaling Jaya, Thursday): DAP
will organise the first of a series of inter-party, inter-religious and
inter-civilisational forums on January 22 featuring Terengganu PAS Mentri
Besar, Haji Hadi Ahmad Awang and three senior state executive councillors,
Mustapha Ali (Economic Development, Petroleum and Industry) , Harun Taib
(Education, Dakwah and Syariah Implementation) and Wan Abdul Muttalib Embong
(Local Government and Housing).
The public forum, which would be held at Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall,
Kuala Lumpur on Saturday, 22nd January 2000 8.30 p.m. - 12 am, will be
entitled "PAS Terengganu Government - Towards A Just Malaysia".
Apart from the speeches by Hadi, Mustapha, Harun and Muttalib, they
will answer questions from the public about PAS Terengganu Govermment’s
plan towards implementing the Barisan Alternative’s common manifesto, Towards
A Just Malaysia, in Terengganu.
